受義大利的歷史與民間傳承啟發，以滿溢燦爛陽光的世界為舞台的類魂系動作角色扮演遊戲。本作雖然屬於「類魂系」遊戲，但與其他類魂系遊戲擁有截然不同的風格，作中世界以義大利的夏天為舞台，因此我們稱之為「夏日魂系」。
為了應對潛藏在艾諾提亞的危險，可依據戰略選擇面具，或利用3組裝備組合（面具組合）隨時切換面具。即便切換裝備組合，數值也不會重置，可以嘗試全新的遊玩風格。

遊玩時間會受玩家的個人技巧影響而產生不小的差異，但我們估計從頭到尾玩一遍大約會需要20～25小時左右。若玩家打算嘗試以不同要素構築角色的戰鬥風格，或是想完全回收探索、收集以及養成等內容，則能更長時間地享受本作。
故事靈感源自於「義大利即興喜劇」。世界被永無止盡的邪惡劇目「卡諾瓦基歐」所吞噬而停止變化。你是這個舞台上唯一沒有被賦予職責的存在「變革的面具」，並且將為了解放停滯的世界而戰。驅使奧多爾的力量，讓擁有強大力量的卡諾瓦基歐劇作家們的故事劃下終止符吧。
面具是整部遊戲的核心，也是最大的特色，劇情和任務都將圍繞著面具展開（例如NPC與BOSS將會依據玩家裝備的面具而做出不同的反應）。面具擁有強大的被動效果，類似於預製裝備。玩家每次獲得新的面具後，都能夠嘗試構建一套新的裝備組合。
裝備組合是以面具為核心的3套自訂組合。裝備組合能夠分別設置武器、格檔寶石、快速道具、台詞、「創新者之路」的技能。裝備組合最多可設置3組，可供隨時切換。
Our skill tree, or as we call it - a skill pool. Powerful passive perks that can be placed into the slots of each mask/loadout. Greatly modify how you play. No boring statistical increases.
Special spells that drop from enemies. Versions of their abilities that you can use. You can equip up to 4 of them in any Loadout. Charged by attacking enemies.
We have a chainable parry system. Partial parries reduce damage taken. Perfect parries negate damage depending on gem equipped, deal unraveling posture damage to enemies and have no stamina cost.

Enotria: The Last Song soundtrack is inspired by several Italian folk musical traditions. We absolutely plan on releasing the OST onto platforms in the near future. We’ll have more information to follow soon.
